The 107 acre Silver Lake Park on Staten Island's north shore includes: a fresh water reservoir, an 18 hole public golf course, club house, showers & lockers, a restaurant, tennis courts and a dog run.

The dog run is very large with three benches in the main area and one in the small dog area. A high priority item on the Silver Lake Reservoir Dog's Goals & Accomplishments List is to add a fresh drinking water system for the dogs, however; for the time being there are water fountains nearby where you can fill a container.

The closest entrance to the dog run is directly across the street from the high rise, Parkview House (aka 700 Victory Blvd). Park your car on Victory Blvd. between Theresa Place and Eddy Street. When you enter the park across from 700 Victory, the run is directly below you. You can click the running dog below for a direct link to Google Maps. Click on Driving Directions, copy and paste- 700 Victory Blvd., 10301 -as your destination.

The dogs have an absolute blast. They wrestle, run, bark, try to catch birds, stare hopefully at squirrels, and when you get them home...they sleep hard. We ask that you read and observe the "Rules of the Run" which are also posted on the fences at the run. We hope to see you there!
